Miss Kaitlyn
I've been part of the Stepping Stones team since 2015 and have had the joy of working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I currently teach in our preschool program, where I focus on helping young learners grow in independence, confidence and kindness.
I graduated from Leavitt Area Highschool and continued my professional development through monthly training in early childhood. I also worked in catholic and private school education, which has shaped my approach to values-based teaching. What I love most about working with children is watching their curiosity bloom and being part of so many important "firsts" - from tying shoes to making new friends. My teaching includes encouraging good manners, age-appropriate life skills and a love for learning and playing. Outside the classroom, I live in Greene with my husband, our son - Halsey, and our two dogs. I enjoy sports, traveling, Fall and trying new foods.
