Miss Heather
My name is Miss Heather and I’ve been working at stepping stones as a Teacher’s Aide for the past 7 years. When working with children, you see so many smiles. Smiles when they’re running around the playground, when they run to give you a hug when they first see you, when they accomplish something they have been working hard to do and that can make even the worst day a million times better! My favorite part of working with children is the witnessing of so many wonderful ‘firsts.’ The first steps, first mumbled words, the first time on the potty. It’s you that gives out the gold stickers, high-fives, and kisses. And when they accomplish something, it’s you that they smile up to with pride. It’s an amazing feeling to know that I had a part in helping them with those firsts.
I live in Buckfield, Maine which is where I grew up. I went to Buckfield High School and attended Oxford Hills Regional High School where I took Early Childhood classes. I have 2 daughters named Kinsley and Nora and a dog named Zig. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends.
