Where are you originally from? Where did you grow up? When did you move here?

Born and raised in Maine.

Where did you attend high school, if you attended college where did you go?

Oak Hill High School attending CMCC.

Tell me a little about your background and your education?

My background is I grew up in a small town with 2 siblings. I grew up living here going into a small school system. I grew up working with children whether it was volunteer or a nanny. After graduating high school I starting attending CMCC for business. I am on my last year graduating this year!

Have you ever taught in childcare/preschool before (tell me about it)?

I have never taught in childcare, but I grew up watching children and volunteering at summer camps and after care.

Are you married? Do you have any children (ex. include their names/ages)?

I’m not married and no children but I am in a long relationship of over 3 years.

Do you have any pets (what are their names)?

I have four dogs Savanna, Cheyanne, Scout, Baxter.

What are you hobbies and interests (ex. how do you spend your free time when you not teaching)?

Some of my hobbies now are playing music. Like guitar, ukulele, and piano. I love playing golf with my boyfriend and grandmother. As of now I spend my time outside doing my school work, and enjoying time with my friend and family.

Why do you want to work with infants/children?

I want to work with children because not only are they adorable they can always make you in a better mood. I always find myself happy and smile when I am working with them I enjoy it so the bad thing about it I have a lot of patience and have a really open mind which causes it to be stress free.

What do you think is/will be the best part of working with young children?

I think the best part is there so funny and silly and have such creative minds and it’s interesting to see what they come up with and can accomplish.
